 Carolyn Reed
Carolyn Reed has worked and lived in the Aleutian Islands for more than seventeen years.
Raised in the Pacific Northwest, she attended Pacific Lutheran University, Reed College,
and the Pacific Northwest College of Art where she received a B.F.A., with an emphasis in
Printmaking and Sculpture, in 1987. She has been represented in over 80 group and solo
shows state-wide, nationally and internationally since 1982, including exhibits at Brazil, Poland, and the Russian Far East.
Reed lives with her family on Unalaska Island and teaches periodic printmaking and
drawing courses through the University of Alaska Aleutian/Pribilof Regional Center.
She has a secondary business making jewelry and framing.
