Located on the second floor, The Chart Room restaurant is an elegant, jewel-toned dining room serving world-class cuisine with a panoramic view of Margaret Bay. Three large dormers with chandeliers provide a dramatic introduction to one of Alaska's finest restaurants.

Before and after dinner, guests can relax by the fire in the sophisticated lounge just off the dining room. Above the bar, the frame of a baidarka - the skin-covered kayak built by the native Aleuts - recalls the area's rich culture and history.

While staying at The Grand, be sure to make reservations for Wednesday night's legendary Seafood Buffet; a weekly event that many return travelers schedule around.
